HNU Students Win Runner-up in Huawei Sales Challenge World Finals

The 2017 Huawei Sales Elite Challenge concluded on May 21. The Wuhan-Changsha regional team, represented by HNU Business School’s undergraduate students Xia Xiaoyun and HNU School of Law graduate student Luo Rui, won runner-up prize in the World Finals.

The event was a marketing capacity contest for college students worldwide, initiated by Huawei Company, a leading global information and communication technology solutions provider. A total of 8,755 students, including more than 1,700 from Wuhan-Changsha region, participated in the contest. The 50 finalists were from 30 Chinese higher education institutions, such as Peking University and Zhejiang University, as well as five foreign universities, including University of London, University of York, and University of Birmingham. 

The contest was composed of three stages: mass-election in ten regions worldwide, regional finals, and world finals. The top five contestants in each region formed a regional team to compete in the world finals in Shenzhen.
