Zhou Qiang, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee met in Changsha with Mr. Sandro Schipani, Roman Law Pa professor of Roman law at University of Rome Ⅰ(Univesita' degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza) and University of Rome Ⅱ(Università degli Studi di ROMA "Tor Vergata") and together with some scholar representativess of from the Roman Law Research Center of Law School, Hunan University. They conducted deep in-depth discussions on mutual cooperation concerning the study of Roman law.

Professor Sandro Schipani, thea famous jurist of Italy, has committed himself to propelling the exchange of in the science of law between China and Italy. He has been in Hunan for three times to given three lectures on invitation in Hunan. Besides, Hhe and other scholars of Law School of Hunan University attended the plate-conferring ceremony of the Roman Law Research Center of Law School, Hunan University in 2007.
