In October 2026, Hunan University will greet the 1050th anniversary of the founding of Yuelu Academy and the 100th anniversary of its official naming. At the same time, the new Kechuanggang campus will open, welcoming students to pursue their youthful dreams. We hereby extend our sincere gratitude and high respect to all faculty and staff, students and alumni from home and abroad, and all the friends from all walks of life who have given support to the development of Hunan University.

The university has always shared weal and woe with the nation and the people, nurturing generations of outstanding talents. More than 400,000 alumni have always cared about the motherland, devoting themselves to contributing to the country and benefiting the people.

On the occasion, a series of anniversary celebrations will be organized. All alumni from around the world and all friends from all walks of life are sincerely invited to gather at the foot of Yuelu Mountain and on the banks of the rippling Xiangjiang River, marking the grand occasion and writing the next magnificent chapter together!
