The "consumption quotas without a password" is set by the campus e-card system to enhance its security.

There are three periods of time for campus e-card consumption, which are: 00:00-10:00, 10:00-16:00 and 16:00-24:00. The consumption quota default is 15 RMB in each period, and the password is not required within the quota. If the consumption amount in any period is beyond the quota, a consumption password is required.

Notes: as the inquiry password, the original consumption password is six "8" s or the last six digits of the holder's ID card. If there is an English letter in the last six digits, then the password is the last six digits exclusive of the English letter.
