Vice President Cao Yijia met with a delegation from London South Bank University led by pro vice chancellor Mrs. Bev Jullien on Dec. 3 at the main office building of Hunan University (HNU).
London South Bank University is one of the oldest comprehensive universities in UK, located at the center of London. Since the cooperation relationship was built between the two universities, nearly 300 HNU students have entered London South Bank University and most have graduated and made accomplishments in their respective professions. The university always emphasizes students’ practical competence. Holding strong connections with enterprises, it offers internship opportunities for specialized courses and grants relevant certifications to students after graduation. For instance, the students of accounting major can get the ACCA certification, which may exempt the students from 9 course examinations.
Vice President Cao Yijia extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Both parties expressed expectations to further collaboration on developing new programs and advancing program level from undergraduates to postgraduate students. Finally, present exchange between the two universities ended the meeting in a harmonious atmosphere.
