The National Ministry of Education recently published a list of the first batch of pilot units for education informatization. Hunan University made the list, with a mission of “reforming cloud computing technology-based education ”.

As a pilot unit for education informatization, the university will make full use of the national super-computer center cloud computing and cloud storage technologies in order to support learning style reform as well to promote educational mode innovation and improve education quality. Under consideration will be the “learning center”, digital collaboration platform for scientific research, management information system, digital campus construction, student internet culture, and several other relevant areas.
