HNU President Zhao Yueyu, on behalf of the university, signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Institute of Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) at HNU Institute in Beijing on September 18. Accordingly, the two sides will cooperate in scientific research, collaborative innovation, construction and resources sharing, personnel training , academic innovation and so on.
To be specific, Hunan University and Institute of Chemistry of CAS will explore a new cooperation pattern between higher education and research institutes, aiming to achieve an all-around integration of personnel training, discipline development, collaborative innovation, personnel cultivation, transfer of scientific research achievements and so on.
The two sides will jointly strive to improve education and scientific research quality and innovation capacity, focus on enhancement of independent innovation capacity based on mechanism innovation and centering on national major scientific research programs, intensify efforts to explore frontier technology and tackle problems in key technologies, vigorously promote the cooperation among enterprises, campuses and research institutes, and propel the transfer and application of scientific & technological achievements and personnel cultivation to realize win-win results.
