The First Chinese National Collegiate Social Entrepreneurship Forum was unveiled in Hunan University on the evening of May 29. Professor Tang Yayang, vice secretary of the CPC Committee of Hunan University and director of the China Social Entrepreneurship Research Center and Professor Li Jiahua, vice president of the China Youth University for Political Sciences and head of the China KAB Entrepreneurship Education Research Institute attended the opening ceremony.
Themed with "holding the pulse of the times to promote social entrepreneurship", this forum will be on a mission to disseminate the ideas of social entrepreneurship, to explore the relationship between carve-out for the public good and the career development of university students and to spread social entrepreneurship among university students in a bid to achieve the final goal of establishing the exchange platform among the university students entrepreneurs for the public benefits, enterprises and government. Sponsored by many organizations including, this forum invited enterprisers renowned for their fulfillment of social responsibilities, specialists in the study of social entrepreneurship, chiefs of carve-out education and professional career education departments of universities and colleges and distinguished guests from other fields.
At the unveiling ceremony, Professor Tang Yayang delivered the opening speech and Liu Xuanqi, executive director-general of the China Social Entrepreneurship Research Center revealed the series of activities to be held during this forum and the Second Social Entrepreneurship Challenge.
