A trilateral meeting among Hunan University (HNU), the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and CNGR Advanced Material Co., Ltd. (CNGR) was held in HNU on June 16. Dr. Tri Winarno, director general of minerals and coal at the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources; CNGR Chairperson Deng Weiming; and, HNU Vice President Jiang Chao attended the conference.
Vice President Jiang gave a briefing on the university's distinctive features in education, discipline strengths, and international exchanges. He noted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia. Jiang also expressed his hope to seize this opportunity to enhance exchanges and cooperation with Indonesian ministries and universities. He looked forward to new collaborative progress in areas such as talent cultivation in the future.
Dr. Tri Winarno stated that professionals with technical expertise, innovative capabilities, and global perspectives are vital for Indonesia's economic transformation. He hoped that the establishment of the scholarship program will serve as an opportunity to expand cooperation with HNU.
A spokesperson for CNGR introduced the company's development history, technological innovations, collaborations with domestic universities, and internationalization development. The spokesperson expressed the expectation to cultivate more talent for the company through university-enterprise cooperation.
