The 3rd Hunan College Campus Media Summit was officially inaugurated at the north teaching building of Hunan University (HNU) on Nov. 17th. The summit was hosted by HNU and at the same time attracted more than 80 campus media groups from over 20 universities and colleges, including HNU, Central South University and Hunan Normal University.
As one of the major events of the 7th Hunan College Student Journalists Festival, the summit focused on three themes of “report content of campus media”, “operating mode of campus media” and “influence of campus media”. Participants from various campus media groups communicated and exchanged views on news report through representative presentations, campus media show and free talk.
The campus media show initiated a climax of the whole summit. Hong Hanqi from HNU Campus Newspaper expressed high appreciations to the summit that provided him with opportunities to make friends and learn from others’ experience, which must be helpful to his career plan.
Prof. Dai Song, director of the Department of Broadcasting and Television of Hunan University, and Wang Xiaoyang, director of the Department of Comment in Rednet.cn respectively gave summing-up speeches for the event.
