A Hong Kong delegation led by chief editor of Ta Kung Pao Mr. Jia Xiping visited Hunan University for a concentrative interview on the afternoon of July 30. The delegation consists of tens of Hong Kong news agencies including Ta Kung Pao, Hong Kong China News Agency, Wen Wei Po, and Sing Po.

The interview was presided over by Mr. Luan Yongyu, vice secretary of the CPC HNU Committee. HNU President Zhao Yueyu gave a brief on academic programs, scientific research, culture heritage and innovation of Hunan University, and answered the Hong Kong media’s questions in terms of university management, cultural heritage and innovation in the institutions of higher learning, development of Confucius Institutes, as well as the exchanges and communication between Hunan University and the universities in Hong Kong.
