On the afternoon of May 4, the second Yuelu Star Financial and Industrial Development Forum was held at Yifu Building of Hunan university. Zhang Dafang, vice chairman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee addressed the forum.
The event is organized under the leadership of the Hunan University Alumni Association, and hosted by its branch Changsha Alumni Association. The participants focus on the theme of financial and industrial development, taking consideration of the current economic development situation of Hunan province, probe into strategies from various perspectives to simultaneously develop these two sectors while transferring economic development mode, discuss issues related to talents cultivation and alumni, and further propose prospective, initiative and creative suggestions and countermeasures.
The forum is of great significance for cultivating more financial talents in universities, promoting Hunan’s financial and industrial development in a sustainable way, and carrying forward new-type industrialization, new-type urbanization, agricultural modernization and informatization, and construction of the "Two-Oriented" Society (resource-saving and environment-friendly society).
Nearly 400 participants attended the forum, including the teacher and student representatives from Hunan University, figures from financial and cultural industries, and all attendees of the enlarged meeting of Hunan University Alumni Association Executive Council.
