About Hunan University
Hunan University (HNU) is situated at the foot of the picturesque Yuelu Mountain and on the west bank of the rippling Xiangjiang River in the historically and culturally renowned City of Changsha, capital of Hunan Province. It enjoys the title of an "Ancient Millenarian Academy, Famous Centennial University". As one of the most famous comprehensive key universities affiliated with the Ministry of Education, it has been included in the state's "Project 211", "Project 985" and "Double First-Class" Initiative for priority investment and construction.
About the Camp
Combining online live broadcast and recorded broadcast,the 2021-2022 Hunan University "Chinese Bridge" Online WinterCamp is mainly targeted at non-native Chinese speakers. Online live broadcast course takes language and Cultural Experience as the main content, while recorded broadcast will focus on the poverty alleviation of Hunan University's counterpart Baishuidong Village, include the overall situation of Baishuidong Village, Human settlement construction poverty alleviation projects, education poverty alleviation projects, and industrial poverty alleviation projects. The whole recorded broadcast will exhibit the changes that local people have experienced in recent years in terms of housing, production, education, employment, and cultural tradition preservation with the joint efforts of Hunan University and the local government. The broadcast will enable Chinese language lovers to learn Chinese, and to understand the poverty alleviation and rural vitalization undertaking in various parts of China through the exploring of what happened in Baishuidong Village.
1. Duration
November 23, 2021 to January 5, 2022
（The course will consist of 49 lectures, including 28 on language, 16 on cultural experience, and 5 on cultural lectures. Each lecture lasts 45 minutes. The language and folk arts will be live streamed. The cultural lectures will be pre-recorded.）

2. Students who have completed all the courses can apply for the certificate of completion and transcript issued by Hunan University. We will send you the completion certificate and transcript issued by Hunan University by mail.
