The 14th National Chemical Sensors Academic Conference (SCCS) was held at Datong University,Shanxi Province, in August, 2019. Prof. Yu Ruqin from HNU College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and also an academician of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), received the conference’s firstSKLCBSC Lifetime Achievement Award. Prof. Wang Kemin received the Outstanding Achievement Award.
Academicians Yu Ruqin and Tan Weihong made academic reports at the conference.
The conference determined that the next session will be held in and organized by HNU in 2021.
The theme of14thSCCS was “innovating the biosensing technique to promote new theoretical and technical exchanges in this field”. It aimed to provide a platform of mutual learning and exchange for researchers and postgraduate students in this field. More than 600representativesparticipated.
