A group of 10 PhD students from College of Environmental Science and Engineering of Hunan University are monitoring and testing water quality of Xiangjiang River during their summer vacation. They monitor water quality and analyze water environment of Xiangjiang River to call for protection of ecological environment and enhancement of environmental carrying capacity.

The photo above taken on July 4, 2016 shows some PhD students test organics and PH value in water fetched from Xiangjiang River in a lab.
