On the evening of September 15, Hunan University (HNU) held the Chorus Concert in Commemoration of 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World’s Anti-Fascist War in the auditorium of the north campus. The choruses of senior faculty and students jointly gave brilliant performances, reminding the audience of the courage and bravery of the Chinese people during the war.

Present at the concert were Wang Kemin, secretary of the education committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Education Department of Hunan Province, Liu Keli, party secretary of the CPC Hunan University Committee, Tang Yayang and Chen Wei, deputy secretaries of the CPC Hunan University Committee, and Vice President of HNU Yang Shenggang. Representatives of students and faculty and retired seniors also went to enjoy the concert.

At the end of the concert, the chorus and the audience sang together the HNU anthem under the baton of Tang De. This evening, HNU faculty and students gave a passionate rendition of the fight and resistance of the Chinese people with music and reminded the audience of the precious and hard-earned victory.
