Yu Ruqin, academician of Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) and professor from College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Hunan University (HNU), won Chemometrics lifetime Achinevement Award at 2015 Chemometrics in Analytical Chemistry (CAC). CAC Permanent Committee President Lutgarde Buydens presented the award. Yu deliver an invited lecture at the conference.

The Chemometrics lifetime Achievement Award was established in the CAC 2010, which was elected and awarded by the CAC International Scientific Committee to commend the outstanding contributors to chemometrics.

The CAC 2015 was co-sponsored by Chinese Chemical Society and National Natural Science Foundation and co-organized by HNU’s State Key Laboratory of Chemo/Biosensing and Chemometrics and Central South University. Nearly 300 experts and scholars attended the conference.
