The 28-day academic exchange between the College of Marxism Studies in Hunan University and the Faculty of Arts and Social Science in University of Malaya ended with the farewell party held in University of Malaya on May 31.

Professor Mohammad Redzuan Othman, dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Science in University of Malaya, expressed the hope for long-term cooperation between the two sides. Peng Xinyu, head of the Hunan University delegation delivered a speech, saying "Thank you for all the works you have done for this program". Mr. Peng summarized students' gains and experience from the exchange, and extended warm welcome to the students of University of Malaya who are going to the College of Marxism Studies in Hunan University for exchange. Students involved in the academic exchange performed Malaysian dance and played Malaysian folk instruments.

Via the academic exchange, students have a new understanding of Malaysian political system, and felt the warmth and kindness of Malaysians. They also improved themselves in English use, interpersonal communication, teamwork, etc.
