On the afternoon of April 26, Du Jiahao, acting governor and deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, came to the Hunan University National Scientific Park, where he inspected the development of major industrial projects of Hunan Farsoon High-Tech Co., Ltd..
Changsha Mayor Zhang Jianfei and president of the park Yang Chunru accompanied Mr. Du, and Chinese American scientist Xu Xiaoshu, general manager of the company, acted as an explainer.
In the Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) processing center, Dr. Xu introduced China’s first high-end selective laser sintering equipment developed by Farsoon. Governor Du showed his interested in the structure and production process of the equipment.
After a close look at the 3D printed model car and art crafts, Governor Du discussed with Dr. Xu about the application of 3D modeling. Later, Governor Du saw a white erhu (a kind of Chinese musical instrument) on the table and happily played a song named Horsing Race.
When Dr. Xu suggested setting up a 3D researching institution in Hunan, Governor Du expressed his full support.
