The annual Muslim Corban Festival fell on October 27 this year. Hunan University (HUN) held an evening gala to celebrate the festival for Muslim minority students from Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. More than 200 students from all ethnic groups sang and danced joyously and enjoyed this traditional festival with leaders, personnel in all departments and instructors of the university. Luan Yongyu, deputy secretary of HUN Party Committee extended New Year greetings to students.
