HNU Hosts Forum of Internet Yuelu Summit 2024

The 2024 Internet Yuelu Summit opened in Changsha on September 9.

Themed "AI Converges in Xiangjiang, Digital Intelligence Drives Future", the summit was attended by hundreds of guests, including academicians and experts, heads of top 500 enterprises, Hunan entrepreneurs, and high-level talents. An opening ceremony, a Yuelu forum, and five thematic forums were held, focusing on summit dialogues in five major areas—Hunan entrepreneurs and business; "culture plus technology" integration; new investment trends in the new era; industrial Internet; and, large models empowering digital economy.

Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, presided over the ceremony.

Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, delivered a speech at the summit.

Provincial leaders including Yang Haodong, Qin Guowen, Xie Jianhui, Zhou Haibing, Cao Zhiqiang, and Wang Junshou, as well as HNU President Duan Xianzhong were present.

Xiong Xiaoge, HNU alumnus and chairman and founding partner of IDG Capital, delivered a keynote speech.

HNU, Xiangjiang New Area, the HNU Alumni Entrepreneurs Association, and the Hunan Information Industry Association organized the forum themed "New Decade of Summit, New Journey for Hunan Entrepreneurs".

Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, attended and addressed the forum. Deng Wei, secretary of the CPC HNU Committee, participated.

Other leaders present included: Shen Yumou, director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce; Tan Yong, deputy secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, secretary of the CPC Working Committee of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area (Changsha High-tech Zone) and secretary of the CPC Yuelu District Committee; Liu Yalou, deputy director of the Office of Cyberspace Affairs Commission of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee; Mao Yuxin, deputy director of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hunan Province; and, Changsha municipal leaders Zou Te and Kang Zhenling.

A declaration titled "Consensus of Hunan Entrepreneurs" authored by HNU professors was adopted at the forum. Besides, a "New Decade of the Summit, New Journey of Hunan Entrepreneurs" ceremony as well as themed lectures and round-table forums were held.
