Mathematics in Economicsis a periodical on economics sponsored by Hunan University and under the supervision of China's Ministry of Education. It is among the core periodicals in Peking University Library and is selected as one of the source periodicals of Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD extended version) and of Chinese Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database (CAJCED). It is also a key periodical included in Chinese Mathematical Abstracts and Chinese Mathematical Documentary Database. It is abstracted and appraised by Mathematics Reviews of America and completely cited in China Journal Full-Text Database (CJFD).

Mathematics in Economics is a quarterly published at the end of every quarter. Each issue contains 112 pages and the periodical is distributed both at home and abroad, whose distribution code is 42-364 and the RRP (Recommended Retail Price) in China is 40 yuan per year.

The journal brings the readers with original and latest research findings mainly in quantitative economics, mathematical economics, econometrics, game theory, economic cybernetics and economic forecasting and decision, and applications of mathematics in economics.
