
The training program of International Master of Industrial Engineering for Developing Countries starts at Hunan University.

A training program of International Master of Industrial Engineering for Developing Countries officially started at College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering of Hunan University on Nov. 3. The program was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and organized by Hunan University, recruiting 25 trainees from 10 developing countries for a 2-year training.
The training aims to foster professional industrial planners and business managers for manufacturing industries in developing countries. Through improving professional skills of the government officials and business managers, it expects to strengthen the competitiveness of the countries in industrial upgrading, employment expansion and resource utilization in the process of globalization, so as to enhance the governance and management ability and promote sustainable economic and social development.
The 25 trainees from 10 developing countries including Ghana, Kenya and Ukraine, were selected and approved by the MOFCOM, China’s embassies abroad and consulates, Hunan University, as well as the governments, enterprises and institutions of high education in these countries.
The organizer of this training program, Hunan University is a key and most comprehensive university affiliated with the Ministry of Education. Boasting professional faculties and rich teaching experience in industrial engineering, it has fostered large quantities of professional talents at home and abroad and acquired remarkable scientific research achievements.
