A delegation from Stellenbosch University (SU) visited Hunan University (HNU) on April 20th. HNU President Cao Yijia met with the delegation.

The SU delegates met at the office building and communicated with the supervisor representatives from HNU’s College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, College of Electrical and Information Engineering, School of Physics and Electronics as well as College of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. Principals of International Student Center and Graduate School of HNU presented at the meeting.

The Ministry of Education launched the “20+20 Cooperation Plan for Chinese and African Institutions of Higher Education” in 2010, under which HNU established one-to-one cooperation relationship with SU. In 2012, HNU was again included in the 20+20 Cooperation Plan for 2013-2015. So far, HNU and SU have cooperated on the Graduate Program for Scientific and Technological Innovation Base and organized exchange visits of faculty and students between the two universities.
