MOOC College, the largest Learning Community under Guokr, recently released a report of Ranking List of Global MOOC in 2015. The ranking is based on the grading data by tens of thousands of learners, appraising the most popular MOOC platform, university and courses among Chinese learners. The overseas platform Coursera and edX as well domestic XuetangX.com were appraised as top three platforms with the largest number of excellent courses. Tsinghua University boasts the largest number of excellent courses in the world. Hunan University is among the global top three in average rating of single course.

The list, based on grading by 14,103 learners form MOOC College in Guokr, made comparative analysis and gave a conclusion on 1,887 MOOC courses from the aspects of platform operation, course-giving institutions, academic fields of the courses, languages, etc.

Coursera and edX and XuetangX.com in the report were appraised as top three platforms with the largest number of excellent courses in the world. Tsinghua University, National Taiwan University, Duke University, Harvard University, Pennsylvania University are the top six universities providing the largest number of high-quality courses in their established courses. Peking University and Wuhan University are another two domestic universities on list of top 20.

The top seven universities getting the highest average course grading are National Taiwan University, Hunan University, Rice University, National Chaio Tung University in Xinzhu, Taiwan, Berklee College of Music and University of Munich. Domestic universities among top 20 also included Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University.
