The “Post-80s & 90s” column of Hunan Daily held a meet-and-greet in Hunan University (HNU) on the morning of May 5. Dozens of young innovator and entrepreneur representatives, a group of column writers, and more than a hundred students participated in this inspiring activity. Eight representatives shared their stories with the audience.

The column, consisting of a profile or a motto, a vivid story and a sketch of each interviewer, showcases the ambitions, determination and pioneering spirit of the youth. Four HNU students Xia Mengyi, Wei Xiaoyu, Pan Ying and Liu Yehuan were specially reported for their start-up stories.

The event was co-organized by Hunan University, Hunan Daily Newspaper Group and the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League (CYL). Attending leaders and principals were Jiang Zuxuan, chief editor of Hunan Daily, Liao Lianghui, deputy secretary of the CYL Hunan Provincial Committee, Liao Qunhong, a charitable entrepreneur entitled "Chinese Good Men", and Chen Wei, deputy secretary of the CPC HNU Committee.
