Four senior scholars from Hunan University (HNU) were among the list of newly-added valid academician candidates which was recently released on the website of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE). The list was examined and approved by the CAE presidium.

According to the list, Prof. Wang Yaonan and Prof. Luo An from the College of Electrical and Information Engineering is respectively a candidate for the Academic Division of Information and Electronic Engineering and the Academic Division of Energy and Mineral Engineering; Prof. Chen Zhengqing from the College of Civil Engineering and Prof. Zeng Guangming from College of Environmental Science and Engineering is respectively for the Academic Division of Civil Engineering, Water Conservancy and Architecture Engineering.
