After over half-a-year fierce competition, the results of the 1st“DFM Dream Car" China Youth Environmentally-Friendly Automobile CreativeDesign Competitionwas announcedat its closing ceremony on Jan. 31 in Wuhan. Themed “Nurturing the Future with Green Creation”, and opened to all university students in China, the competition was jointly held by Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM), the China Foundation for Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment, and Dongfeng Benevolence Foundation. Kicked off last May in Tsinghua University, it called up the participants to create Chinese eco-friendly vehicles with distinct features highlighting eco-friendly style, techniques and intelligence.

According to the organizing committee, the competition accepted over 140 entries created by 111 teams from 37 universities throughout the country.
