Invited by the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, a delegation of youth cadres from Latin America paid a visit to our university on June 23. Organized by the Youth League Committee of HNU and HNU Student Union, young teachers and students of HUN and the 20 youth cadre representatives from 7 countries of Latin America had a friendly meeting.

During the meeting, they watched the publicizing video of Hunan University, and conducted in-depth exchanges in terms of higher education and the national issues of common concern as well.

After then, representatives of both sides presented souvenirs to each other and took a group photo. The delegation then visited Yuelu Academy, which helped the delegates get better understanding of the history and educational characteristics of our university. Policy coordinator Pablo Javier Salinas from Peru expected that the youth of the two countries could have more opportunities to communicate so that he would have the chance to meet teachers and students from Hunan University in Peru. Mr. Bernardo Vazquez Perdomo, consultant of the Mexican Senate Economic Committee, said China is a peace-loving country and its culture should be understood world widely. He likes China and is willing to contribute to the bilateral ties between China and Mexico.
