Young Hunan Hearing-impaired Artists Exhibit Their Talent

Before the 22nd National Day of Assistive, Yang Daixi, a teacher from the School of Art and Design of Hunan University had been preparing for the Exhibition of Hunan Young Deaf Artists' Excellent Works, which was open for free at 15:00, on May 17 and will last till May 20, at Hunan Provincial Museum.
According to Yang, this exhibition was set to be held simultaneously at four halls of the museum, namely East Hall, South Hall, North Hall and Central Hall. All the 215 works on display were painted by deaf artists.
During his two-year long preparation for this exhibition, Yang Daixi created two huge paintings himself, to encourage the participation of hearing-impaired artists. "Compared with normal people, they live a much more difficult life. I hope others can learn something from them via this exhibition and at the same time the exhibition can call for concern to the disabled people from the society." said Yang. He will continue his dedication to concerning the disabled.
