A strategic cooperation agreement was inked between Hunan University and Changsha University on the morning of July 6. It aims to build a platform for sharing teaching resources of the two universities, which will benefit the teachers and students from both universities on the basis of their complementary advantages.
　　
Zhang Fangping, director of the Hunan Provincial Education Department, Wang Kemin, director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Changsha Major Zhang Jianfei, Vice Major He Jihua, Liu Keli, secretary of the CPC Committee of Hunan University, Zhao Yueyu, vice president of Hunan University, Huang Zhongrui, secretary of the CPC Committee of Changsha University, and Liu Yun, president of Changsha University, attended the signing ceremony.
　　
According to the agreement, Hunan University and Changsha University will focus on cooperation in undergraduate education, postgraduate education, scientific research, team construction and resources sharing.
　　
Major Zhang stressed that it is of great significance for Changsha University, the only municipal undergraduate university in Changsha, to carry out strategic cooperation with Hunan University, which will inject new power to its development.
