On January 21, 2018, the National Supercomputing Center in Changsha, HNU, reached an agreement on the "E-Village" project phaseⅡwith the Bangladesh Information and Research Center (BIRC) and the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU).
The Center, supported by HNU’s research and resources, will collaborate with Bangladesh to facilitate intelligent agriculture development and agricultural informatization in Bangladesh.

Most of Bangladesh is riverine plain s. Agriculture is its major industry. Recently, there has been a surge in demand for food processing, fruits, and dairy products. Due to the state of its technology, its processing industry is undeveloped. The National Supercomputing Center in Changsha, Peking University, and Jiangsu BDS Application Industry Institute, will jointly collaborate with BSMRAU and BIRC, to develop precision agriculture prediction models in two years based on agricultural sensor research. As the E-Village project progresses, the National Supercomputing Center in Changsha will use its technologiy to assist Bangladesh in developing intelligent agriculture and push forward agricultural informatization.
