HNU and Pactera, a global IT service provider, reached an agreement on production-education-research cooperation at the National Supercomputing Center in Changsha on October 9. According to the agreement, a financial technology research center will be established.
Feng Minggang, Pactera executive vice president and finance business general manager, Wang Weibin, HNU vice president, Xie Xiaoquan, Pactera vice president, and Li Kenli, dean of HNU College of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, signed the agreement.
HNU and Pactera will collaborate in financial technology and its industrialization in an all-round way. HNU will leverage its advantages in technological innovation, basic research, information resources, and talents, to support financial technology R&D and management structure adjustment and optimization. Pactera willset up scholarship, and organize IT summer camp and innovation-themed activities. Such enterprise-university cooperation will accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship education for applied personnel, and achieve high-quality development of both sides.
