The 15th National Conference on Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship was held recently. It was supported by the Ministry of Education and hosted by the panel of experts of the National Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program. The project "Innovative Design of High-Precision Rotating Surface Photocuring 3D Printer" of the College of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering of Hunan University (HNU), was presented at the reform achievement exhibition. This project stood out from over 30,000 projects nationwide as one of the top 20, and was recognized with the title of "My Favorite Project". The project instructor, associate professor Wang Zhaolong, was awarded the title of "Outstanding Instructor". This is the first time for HNU to be awarded at the National Conference on Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The project "Innovative Design of High-Precision Rotating Surface Photocuring 3D Printer" was initiated in 2021, under the supervision of Associate Professor Wang Zhaolong. Undergraduate student Xu Wanqing was the project leader, and undergraduate students Gong Wutao, Li Zhiyu, Zhang Wenjie, and Zhang Zimo joined as team members.
The National Conference on Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship, supported by the National Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program, is a crucial annual exhibition and communication event. It is one of the grand events that boasts the broadest coverage, greatest influence, highest number of students, and highest level in the undergraduate teaching reform of China’s universities.
