The Thieme Academic Publishing Group recently announced the list of winners for the 2025 Thieme Chemistry Journals Award. He Qing and Tao Zhonglin, two professors from HNU College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, made the list. A total of 93 researchers worldwide received this award this year.
Established in 1999, the Thieme Chemistry Journals Award is presented annually to up-and-coming researchers worldwide who are in the early stages of their independent academic career. The awardees are selected exclusively by the editorial board members of the journals Synthesis, Synlett, and Synfacts. The award constantly watches out for promising, young individuals working in chemical synthesis and catalysis, or closely related areas of organic chemistry. It aims to send a sign of recognition and career encouragement to the new generation of organic chemists.
