Xu Guozheng, male, born in November 1970 in Dong’an County, Hunan. He joined the Communist Party of China in April 1995, and took his first job in June 1995. He is currently member and standing committee member of the CPC Hunan University Committee, and vice president of Hunan University.

Xu has long engaged in college student ideological and political education, and higher education management. He published more than 10 papers on Guangming Daily, China Daily, Journal of Hunan University (Social Sciences), and Journal of Wuhan University (Social Sciences); participated in or took charge of compiling five books; and, presided over or participated in five provincial and ministerial research projects.
He has received many awards and honors, including “outstanding individual in career guidance in Hunan’s higher learning institutions”; outstanding working staff in Hunan University; model teacher of professional ethics of Hunan University; and, Huang Zhiyong outstanding young teacher award of Hunan University.
