Yu Xiangcheng, male, born in May 1970 in Juye County, Shandong Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in November 1991, and took his first job in July 1993. He is currently standing committee member and vice secretary of the CPC Hunan University Committee.

Honors and Awards:
Yu has engaged in college students’ ideological and political education, higher education management, and Party affairs for years. He hosted or participated in 12 programs supported by the National Social Science Fund , Philosophy and Social Science Fund of the Ministry of Education, Social Science Fund of Hunan Province, and education science planning. He published more than 20 papers on Chinese core journals and Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) academic journals.
Yu has been awarded with the first prize of Hunan Provincial Educational Achievement Award, and the titles of National Outstanding Communist Youth League Cadre, and Outstanding Leader in Hunan College Students’ Ideological and Political Education.
