Wang Weibin, male, was born in Feb. 1972 in Tianmen City, Hubei Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, and a research fellow holding a Ph.D. degree. He is currently amember of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan University Committee and vice president of Hunan University.
Jun. 1995, graduated from Hunan University (HNU) with his B.Eng. in chemical process;
2004, graduated from HNU with his M.Eng. in chemical process;
2008, graduated from HNU with his DSc in business management;
2006, promoted to be an associate professor;
2019, promoted to be a research fellow.
Wang began to work at HNU in 2004, and successively held the posts of secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of HNU College of Civil Engineering, deputy director of the Undergraduate Recruitment and Employment Service Center, director of the Admission Office of the Graduate School, and head of the Financial Planning Department;
Oct. 2017, served as HNU General Office (Office of the President) director, and head of the Financial Planning Department (till Jul. 2018);
Jul. 2018, acted as director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hunan University Committee;
Dec. 2018, elected as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan University Committee; and,
Jun. 2019 to present, serves as amember of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan University Committee and vice president of Hunan University.
Wang has long been engaged in college student ideological and political education,and higher education and financial planning management. He hosted three projects at ministerial and provincial level or above,compiled four monographs as editor-in-chief, and published many papers on coreperiodicals at home and abroad, includingGuangming DailyandInternational Conference On Logistics And Supply Chain Management.
