Dean of Yuelu Academy Prof. Xiao Yongming signed an agreement to establish sister-university relationship with Prof. Steffen Döll from the Asia-Africa Institute (AAI) of University of Hamburg on March 20, 2017.
According to the agreement, Yuelu Academy and AAI will promote teacher and student exchange in batches, and long or short-term academic visits and collaborative research every year. They will further keep long-lasting substantive cooperation and exchange in the areas of personnel training and academic research.

Orienting to the target of building a first-class university and discipline of the world for the 13th Five-year Plan period (2016-2020), Yuelu Academy strives to open its philosophy and social science research up to the world, to fulfill definite goals and key tasks. It concentrates on talent cultivation, and cultural inheritance and innovation, and meanwhile, boosts international exchanges, such as collaboration and academic exchange with UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Japan’s universities.
