The Alumni Donation and Hunan University Publications Exhibition opened at the second floor of the university library on Oct. 1, to mark the 1040th anniversary of the founding of Yuelu Academy and 90th anniversary of the naming of Hunan University (HNU). The exhibition will last until the end of this month.
This exhibition was composed of six parts, respectively collecting personages’ manuscripts and letters, dissertations of the graduates during the Republic of China (1912-1949), donations by teachers and students of the university, books and journals published by the university press, and souvenirs and donated calligraphy works for the celebrations marking the 1030th anniversary of the founding of Yuelu Academy and 80th anniversary of the naming of Hunan University.
