An U.S Delegation of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) visited Hunan University recently for an investigation on youth sexual and reproductive health education. HNU Assistant President Xie Chi met the delegation. Principles of Hunan Provincial Committee of Population﹠Family Planning attended the meeting. HNU Hospital and some other universities in Hunan sent representatives to engage in discussion with the guests.

During the stay, the delegation communicated with 12 student representatives from 4 universities in Hunan including Hunan University, Central South University, Hunan Normal University and Changsha Health Vocational College. The Delegation affirmed Hunan’s progress on “Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health” for the Seventh Country Programme of UNFPA, and spoke highly of the youth health education in the university.
