
The “Landscape and Scenery ---- Art Exhibition of Shi Jinsong and Huang Liyou”, sponsored by the Macao Foundation held its opening ceremony in the exhibition hall of Clube Militar de Macau on the afternoon of July 21. Over 40 recent works by these two famous Hunanese artists were on display, exploring the spiritual indication of Chinese and western culture from different perspectives. Jiang Xuegong, Secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of the Hunan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, attended the ceremony.

Huang Liyou, associate professor of the School of Architecture of Hunan University (HNU), is the member of the China Oil Painting Society and Hunan Artists Association, and assumes the positions of vice-president and secretary-general of the Hunan Young Artists Association and distinguished artist of the Hunan Painting and Calligraphy Institute. His works are mainly collected in the National Art Museum of China, the Chinese Artists Association, and the Chinese Modern Culture Research Center.


The exhibition aims to provide a platform for direct and close communication between artists from Hunan and Macao to promote cultural and art exchange between the two sides, and bring Macao people from all walks of life, especially young people, to learn more about the culture and art of their motherland. The exhibition opened on July 21 and will close on July 25.
