Students from Hunan University tune their high-efficiency fuel-efficient rally car.
At the launch of new cars developed by the Hunan Eagle team of Hunan University on October 12, a cool cigar-shaped black car has made a great impression. The year-long design by 30 undergraduate students from Hunan University will compete at the Eighth Honda China Energy-saving Competition on October 18. It is expected to achieve 500 kilometers per liter, pushing the limits of high-efficiency environment-friendly rally cars. If they excel at the competition, the team will take part in the Shell Eco-marathon car race next January in the Philippines.
The fuel-efficient car developed by Hunan Eagle has an efficient and modern shape. It measures 2.98 meters long, 0.5 meters high and 0.7 meters wide and weighs 50.6 kilos.
