HNU and Concordia University inked a MOU in 2001 and have jointly launched education cooperation program since then. The first batch of undergraduate students were recruited into architecture major which was then developed into civil engineering in 2005. So far 123 students covered by the cooperation programs have finished their study, and most of them have made good development in architecture and civil engineering fields.
This time, the two universities expect, based on the current undergraduate cooperation programs, to expand collaboration in broader fields. As Dr. David Graham mentioned that three aspects will be focused on in future cooperation: the first is postgraduate and doctoral students as well as teacher exchange program; the second is cooperation program for business education; the third is diversified, expanded and multi-channel intention of the cooperation agreement.
