The International Consortium of Chinese Mathematicians (ICCM) held its first annual meeting in Sun Yat-Sen University recently. More than 200 mathematicians from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and the US , attended.
The ICCM granted the Best Paper Award to 20 outstanding Chinese mathematicians. HNU College of Mathematics and Econometrics Prof. Huang Yong’s collaborated work Geometric measures in the dual Brunn-Minkowski theory and their associated Minkowski problems Acta Math., 216 (2016), no. 2, 325-388, won a silver prize. He was invited to give an academic report on “Geometric measures and their associated Minkowski problems” at the meeting.
