The Ministry of Education recently announced a list of educational bases included in the program for cultivating students who excel in fundamental disciplines. HNU’s base for chemistry discipline made the list.

HNU has paid high attention to undergraduate education in chemistry discipline. Since 2002, it successively set up “combined undergraduate-graduate degree class”, “science base class”, “Li Da natural science experimental class”, and “science experimental class”. After nearly two decades of efforts, HNU has gained rich experiences and achieved notable results in cultivating students who excel in chemistry discipline.

In the future, HNU will continue to fulfill the requirements of related authorities;pursue fostering character and civic virtue as its fundamental mission; innovate talent cultivation mode; optimize educational programs and curriculum system; and, accelerate construction of the base for cultivating students who excel in chemistry discipline.These will help fosterinnovative talents and chemists who have solid academic foundation, broad vision, both integrity and ability, and excellent comprehensive qualities in chemistry discipline.
