More than 30 foreign experts and international friends from over 10 countries visited Yuelu Academy on September 17, 2021, to appreciate the millenary history and culture originated here, and the unique charm oftraditional Chinese culture.

Li Zhijian, secretary of the leading Party group of the Hunan Department of Science and Technology, Li Ying, official of the Hunan Department of Publicity of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Zeng Lixin, deputy director of the Hunan Department of Science and Technology, and HNU President Duan Xianzhong and Vice President Li Shutao attended.

The visitors experienced Chinese folk customs for Mid-Autumn Festival, and appreciated Chinese ancient poetry. Prof. Zhan Beibei from Yuelu Academy presented the history, development, and cultural influence of this millenaryinstitute of education. Prof. Yang Yu from Central South University lectured on Chinese poetry and Mid-Autumn Festival customs, and taught the foreigners to chant the poem “A Tranquil Night”. The foreign attendees shared the “reunion” culture in their countries, and performed their folk music and dances.
