The Ministry of Education released an annual list of the 2.0 bases of the plan for cultivating top-notch students in certain basic academic disciplines. HNU’s computer science top-notch student cultivation base made the list. So far, HNU has two candidates for such bases, respectively in chemistry and computer science disciplines.

HNU has attached high importance to the cultivation of outstanding students in basic disciplines, and rolled out an overall working plan to cultivate leading personnel for the new era with solid foundation, open view, moral integrity and professional competence, and high humanistic quality, scientific spirit, and innovation ability.

HNU’s computer science top-notch student cultivation base will foster virtue as its basic task of education; focus on such three key links as selection, evaluation, and cultivation; integrate high-quality education resource systematically; and, upgrade cultivation mechanism for outstanding talents, in a bid to cultivate top-notch talents with high quality, innovation ability, and international competitiveness for the new era.
