The CreditEase- 2012 (the 8th) China MBA Business Case Competition held its final competition in the international lecture hall of Weilun Building, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University on Dec. 1st. It was jointly sponsored by the MBA education centre of School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, Journals of Tsinghua Management Review and Management Scientists.
MBA students from Singapore, Macao and Taiwan and 13 teams from mainland China came for the competition and raised a brainstorming for management and innovation. Finally, Taiwan team took the crown, Tsinghua University team and HNU team (with the case of the Fifth Bureau of China State Construction Engineering Corporation) got the second award and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications team, Tongji University team and Xi’an Jiaotong University team gained the third award respectively.
The six members of HNU team are Luo Chang, Fu Xintao and Pan Hongdou from grade 2011 of MBA program and Guo Peng, Chen Zhao and Chen Fei from grade 2012 of MBA program. Associate Prof. Qi Shunsheng, strategic management expert from HNU School of Business, serve as instructor for HNU team all through the competition.
Besides obtaining the second award at the final competition, HNU team also captured the Outstanding Organization Award, Best Production Award and Best Originality Award, shining as the biggest winner of the competition.
