3rd Chinese University Service Outsourcing Innovation Competition ended in Wuxi recently. The “Dong Wei (appreciate the taste)” gourmet navigation software for mobile phones and SaaS platform for catering services, developed by “Dong Wei” team from Information Science & Engineering School of Hunan University, left a deep impression on the judges and succeeded in winning the second price.

The event focused on themes related to service economy, information technology, innovative business, applied orientation and cooperation between industry and academic institutions. It aimed at providing a platform for students to showcase service innovation and entrepreneurship, ultimately attracting the public and students towards modern service industries, promoting the reform of higher education, cultivation of innovative talents and evaluation system. Apart from Tsinghua University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, representatives from more than 200 universities gathered and attended the competition.
